NHCOS provides the following outreach services at its Waldorf, Maryland location. These programs are available to residents of Charles County, Maryland every Saturday, from 10:00am - 12:00pm.

Food Pantry

Our food distribution program provides fresh and non-perishable food goods to individuals and families in need of assistance. NHCOS is currently working with local businesses to expand this much needed community service. In 2011, the Food Pantry distributed over 1,000 bags of food. Here's how you can get involved...

Hope's Closet

Our clothes distribution program provides clothing, shoes, coats, and related items to men, women and their families. With ongoing donations from New Hope church members and support from other sources, Hope's Closet serves hundreds of people each year.

General Education Development

Computer Training

As part of the NHCOS education development arm, the computer training program offers introductory computer education classes. From Microsoft Outlook to the Windows operating system and the Internet, students gain a good understanding of the basics of using today's computer systems.

  • Tutoring services (for youth and adults)
  • Employment counseling services
